Review: I read where a few folks say this book has things you could find online for free. That's true.But the time required more than exceeds the few bucks I paid for this guide. Those folks must not value their time much, I however do.This is a must have guide for option traders. I'm one and this is both a refresher and quick review for more sophisticated strategies. I'm teaching my kids option trading soon and this will be their textbook.I wish I had this years ago when I first started. Would have saved lots of time and effort as well as improved my options trading prowess.I recommend you get the hardcover version. Its well made and designed for heavy usage. I have the Kindle version as well so I can look up something I want...wherever I am.I'm a fan...I think you will be too.

Review: The only reason for four stars instead of five is due to the cost. Otherwise, I think it is a very good book to include in your collection if you are getting into trading options. While other books provide detailed explanations of strategies, how they work, what to avoid, etc., this book provides a different perspective on each type of strategy.The beginning of the book provides an overview of definitions/terms and what types of calls/puts are good for various types of investors. Where this book differentiates itself from other books is that it gives a little detail about the various types of trades (or strategies). Each trade overview provides bulleted points about the setup of the trade, who should run it (such as some trades should only be done by experience folks rather than newbies), when to run it (such as during a bear or bull market) and the strategy itself. I like looking at a quick glance to see what types of options (no pun intended) are good for me being a new options trader. Then I can read on it here and look for that type of trade in other books that I have purchased for possibly some additional information or information from another's perspective.Great book.

Review: This is an amazing, simple to understand, examples galore book. I just wish the pages were plastic/wipe able lol. I’m greatful for my rookie section. This books has allll the definition you need to know to get started.I have bought about 7 books thus far. If I had bought this one first I wouldn’t have needed the other 6. Buy the playbook you won’t regret it

Review: So you've taken an option trading class or watched some videos, studied all the strategies, but now everything is a blur and you need a 'Cheat Sheet' remainder of each strategy. This is the book you're looking for.This is a good quality, hard cover, heavy paper, spiral bound book, featuring 40 option trading strategies.This book is also absolutely hilarious and written in a fun, simple to understand language. I was pleasantly surprised by the explanation and appreciated the engaging way the author deliver the information. It's a 'BUY' in my book.

Review: PURCHASED: June 16, 2016.As an experienced trader (of not just Options), I found this to be a neat "table" reference. It's on my bookshelf and serves as a means to occasionally confirm the potential options strategy (or strategies) being tossed around in my mind. It's also a good easy reference to confirm what someone else is saying about their trade or strategy no matter how complex it is.WHAT'S GREAT ABOUT IT - HUGE printed pages, large diagrams, very easy to read, straightforward. Tons of option plays described in good basic detail - like a neat massive a "Rolodex" card file of option plays. In the grand scheme of things, it's cheaper than a single $0.15 stock option contract, AFTER commissions...and it doesn't expire - so what's there to lose, eh?WHAT's NOT SO GREAT ABOUT IT - HUGE printed pages - that is, in some ways I wish I got the Kindle edition! It would be much easer to search, as well as handle the Kindle Edition. Then again, my eyes aren't so good anymore, and I still like flipping paper pages (reminds me why I'm not a Millennial). Also, it's pretty basic and straightforward - for an experienced trader, it is basic, straightforward, and kinda dull...nothing new here. (But then again for an experienced trader, its a good reminder of all the varieties of option plays out there.)

Review: I’m a beginner/intermediate options trader, meaning I’ve read a few books and traded options a few months. I have a grasp of the various strategies but no intuitive feel for the process.This book is the one to read after reading deeper books on the topic and trying a few things out. Each chapter has provided me with those aha moments that deeper understand of a concept requires.The book ties together complex concepts with entertaining candor and relatable language. Each time I realize ‘oh! That’s how it works’ my confidence grows and concepts integrate with my way of thinking about them. There is great value in a text that can connect the dots this way. For me this is one of those texts.

Review: First off, the quality of the book construction is outstanding! Thick, hard covers bound by a double metal spiral will last a lifetime, as will the photo-grade inner pages. You can pass this one on to your grandkids. The content is written in a reference book style. It opens with a short lesson on what an option is, how they're bought and sold, and defines the unique language terms that options traders use.The bulk of the book is exactly what I was needing - 40 ways to use options to fill various needs for different purposes and markets. Each strategy is clearly described, and instructions for placing and managing each order is laid out with coloring book clarity and simplicity.If you're an investor who hasn't tried adding options to your portfolio, this is a great place to start your experience!As a side note, this item ships USPS; if your local Post Office is a terrible as mine, you might try to find another source. Our carriers are liars, and report the delivery as "on the porch" when in fact it is just tossed over the fence where anyone can see and steal it.
